Member of the NDU faculty Senate to represent the retirees since 2022.

Member of the governing board of the ND Retiree Association since 2022.

Mentor of a Masters of Divinity student each year since 2017.

Elected member of the American Weil Society governing board since 2004.

Elected member of the international Weil society since 2016 (the only American to be so chosen ever) L’Association pour l’Étude de la Pensée de Simone Weil.

On the governing board of the on-site Simone Weil Academic publication: ATTENTION since 2019.
