Sonia Gernes retired from the Notre Dame English Department after thirty years on the faculty. While there, she taught mostly Creative Writing and American Literature.
Professor Gernes has been on the faculty of Forever Learning Institute since 2007 and is delighted by the creativity and analytic skills of her students.
Her published work includes a novel and four books of poetry.
